Studies which was carried out by Scandinavian researches showed that 3 g daily cinnamon intake regulates the glucose amount in the blood. According the results of research, which carried out with ten people and published in American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, with cinnamon consumption, hormone which is responsible to control blood sugar decreases the insulin amount in blood.
Joanna Hlebowicz, from Malmo University, said that although it doesn’t change glucose amount in blood, cinnamon decreases insulin necessity.
