United Nations Children’s Fund announced that famine in East Africa causes more children to die and have more serious diseases due to politic instability and battles.
Miranda Eeles, speaker of UNICEF, informed that almost 20 million people there need urgent help and 4 million of them are children under 5 years old.
Speaker indicated that more children have been exposed to denutrition for recent months.
UNICEF warned that condition in the are will get worse, if other countries help them by food and other subsides. UNICEF informed that it can only get 10% of aid which was targeted 178 million dollars.
