According to FAO/WHO probiotics are “Live microorganisms which when administered in adequate amounts confer a health benefit on the host”.

Yes, microorganisms do not always hurt people. Some microorganisms defense our buddy against pathogens. Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) are the most common bacteria that are used as probiotics. Most common strains are Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium and species are Bacillus coagulans and Lactobacillus bifidus.

Is there any disadvantage of using probiotic products everyday? Does anybody know that? Thanks!
