Coffee Is the Best Antioxidant

According to American scientist the antioxidant effect of the coffee is more than fruits and vegetables.

The scientist from Pennsylvania University searched the antioxidant effects of the more than 100 foods like vegetables, fruits, snacks, spices, oil and drink. After all, they fount that coffee is the most effective antioxidant.

Black tea and banana follows the coffee. According to researches, coffee prevents colon and liver cancers, Parkinson disease, and diabetes.

Specialist say that one or two cups of coffee should be drank per day and behind it fruits and vegetables should be eaten.

What Are The Sources of The Antioxidants?

Fruits and vegetables are the rich sources of the antioxidants. Vegetables are main sources of the ascorbic acid (vitamin C). Fruits and vegetables are main sources of the carotenoids. The most important antioxidant carotenoids are beta-carotene (vitamin A) and lycopene. Beta carotene is found in yellow, green and orange fruits and vegetables like carrot, spinach, lettuce, melon, tomato, broccoli, sweet potato, orange and vegetable marrow. Lycopene is found in tomato and other red color fruits.

Another antioxidant source is alpha tocopherol (vitamin E). The sources of the vitamin E are; vegetable oil, vegetables, egg, cereals, margarine, bean, sheep and buffalo meat, butter and chicken.

We should keep in mind that only antioxidants are not enough to live healthy and stay young. We should be away from cigarette, alcohol, stress, bad ideas and unhealthy foods.

People from Far East and Asia have consumed it for centenaries. Now, it is known in all around the world. There are admissible reasons to prefer soy. You can consume soy in different forms; soybean, soybean oil, soy fiber, soy milk, soy sauce, soy bud, soy flour  etc. . All the meals which are cooked with soy are very delicious. Also, we can call it “pharmacy”.

Although soy has lots of advantages, it has also some disadvantages and people should be aware of them.

Some disadvantages of the soy are;

  • The popular fear that soybeans might cause reduced libido and even feminine characteristics in men has not been indicated by any study; the popularity of the notion seems to be based on the simplistic misapprehension and testosterone have a simple, inverse relationship in sexual hormone systems and sex-related behaviour.
  • Soy has been in place in allergen list and people should be aware of if they are allergic to soy and allergic people must not eat soy.
  • Raw soy flour is known to cause pancreatic cancer in rats. Whether this is also true in humans is unknown because no studies comparing cases of pancreatic cancer and soy intake in humans have yet been conducted, and the doses used to induce pancreatic cancer in rats are said to be larger than humans would normally consume. Heated soy flour may not be carcinogenic in rats.
  • Existing cancer patients are being warned to avoid foods rich in soy because they can  accelerate the growth of tumours

As you see above, soy has advantages more than disadvantages. It helps to form more healthy generations.
