Benefits Of Vitamin A: A Vitamin makes body tissues and skin healthy. It also strengthen immune system and bones. As an antioxidant, vitamin A prevent cancer, decelerate aging, helps fat storage. Another important roles of vitamin A are, proteins can’t be used without it and it is beneficial for eyesight

What Are The Sources Of Vitamin A? It exist in animal foods abundantly. The sources are; fish oil, liver, kidney, milk, egg yolk, wheat, carrot, mushroom, legume, peanut, walnut, and tomato.

Deficiency of Vitamin A: Vitamin E deficiency, alcohol, some medicine and malnutrition may cause vitamin A deficiency. The symptoms are; dry skin, dandruff, wounds, night blindness, fatigue, anorexia and gingivitis. Deficiency of vitamin A also make kids not grow properly.

Excess of Vitamin A: Excess of Vitamin A may cause head ache, fatigue, vomiting, insomnia, itch, diarrhea, menstrual irregularity, bone pain, dry skin, hair loss. Also pregnancy should as doctor to take vitamin A tablets.
Daily Vitamin A Requirement: For adult men, 1000 mg; for adult woman 800mg; For pregnant woman, 1000 mg; for nursing mother, 1200 mg.
